If they were bailing them out you would say it's only because it's a Dem state. You can be cynical regardless of what he does. I figured when Obama had LA Mayor Antonio Villaigosa on his Economic Advisory panel, it meant CA would get the same goodies from Washington as Michigan did. So that disproved your cynicism and you MUST move from another cynical angle? Why should the state have to pay for home service workers anyway? Wouldn't you and your wife like to have a nursing home worker helping the two of you in your old age, all paid for (and very well) by the FL government? I don't know that we don't. My point was that you are willing to cut others pay but not raise your own taxes. Seems selfish to me; I know you resent that. I really don't have a lot of time to fight the great partisan wars. I think Obama will eventually give CA some cash, when they get desperate enough, but in Obama style, as with the banks and GM, it will cost CA. Obama will DEMAND CA get it's budget in hand, maybe just have his peeps write it. It's BOUND to include new taxes.
