I do not know if she was a right winger, but she was certainly stupid and destructive. I think you have been smart limiting your thread to constuctive thinkers who try to learn from each other and have respect for each other, rather than just tearing down everything anyone says. You do not require Einsteinian brillance, just common decency and a postive willingness to exchange ideas. Unless a person has some understanding of their own ignorance and other peoples knowledge, it hopeless trying to reason with them. In fact in Zen that is the first requirement of the student. First learn how ignorant you are. Then you can start to learn, but not until then.
