Jane studies "sustainability science". That's an amusing one. She has certainly got all the environmental jargon wrapped tightly around her. That is a good idea as it has provided her with great cash flow.

I have a fairly good idea what physics, computer science, biology, chemistry, mathematics, solid state physics, microbiology and so on are about, but "social science", "sustainability science" and "scientology" seem to have little to do with actual science.

I suppose "sustainability science" is the study of keeping things going permanently, so it must be the modern version of the study of perpetual motion machines.
