Totally agree... finally!

Though I still think that Washington kowtowed too much, to Wall Street.

The tail is wagging the dog. Instead of deploying capital productively, to the benefit of the economy, Wall Street prefers to bet it on red.

They're captives of Enron thinking and techniques. The economy, the people, the nation and the world are paying for their wagers and losses - but get little in return.

We'll see what happens. I see a lot of good stuff with O in
charge, even though it seems now nobody likes him. He fixes
some things, one at a time. Medicare is a major long term
liability to tackle. The trick is to trim sharp cost increases
somehow. Smart man, smart team, but difficult situation -
and corruption is not gone, of course.
