Well, obviously some things DO work better privatized. But, some things work better run by the government. The problem lies in making a fuggin' religion or creed out of either one. What needs to be done is to identify which should be done how. I think it's pretty obvious that health care delivery should NOT be a private, for profit enterprise. But, drug development SHOULD be. Questions?: Should the military be privatized entirely? Why should any of it be public at all? I've always been more comfortable with PUBLIC utilities than private. Government Motors seems like a bad idea, and we only have to look at the Soviet auto industy to know WHY.
