"See the movie "Snatch" and the character Brad Pitt plays for an example."

Great movie! I bought the DVD. Too bad Brad Pitt doesn't do too much real acting, since he CAN. He was great in another movie as a redneck psycho on a cross-country trip with David Duchovny too - the name escapes me. Being a Texan who grew up with a few redneck psychos - he NAILED it.

Tinkers in Dublin aren't trusted, as they are often a bit on the shady side. See the movie "Snatch" and the character Brad Pitt plays for an example. I imagine in England they are called "pikers", or at least that's the name in the movie.

Belfast has always been somewhat of a rough neighborhood. Given the above conditions and history it appears to be a continuation of many years of friction between the two groups. Perhaps in better economic times more tolerance exists.

Sorry if someone did not want my 2 cents. I was reading posts from someone I've peoplemarked when I noticed the post.

I don't know much about N. Ireland but they seem to be low on tolerance I suspect in part due to economic conditions. Strangely enough, Dublin and Ireland seem to be more tolerant even though their economic status had been even weaker until recently.

As for the Romish, they are not well received in any European country.
