Good points. It's very hard to know where the design limits are in a system as dynamically complex as this. I don't think Airbus sales will be very healthy for the next few years.

My initial impression is an explosion with sudden decompressure. A small explosion would be enough to limit findings to exact cause over a vast ocean.
