"Iran accuses the US of meddling in election crisis"

Oops. That means they are really scared.

Yup. Its getting worse. They should never have let the Iranians know that we elected a black man.

From the outside, it is difficult to tell what kind of effect the demonstrations are having. But, if they are trotting out The Great Satan, things are worse for them than I thought.

Iranians in the know are saying that the ayatollah has two choices........use the Rev. Guard to suppress the anarchy, or give up some of his power. Apparently, its not just the people who are fighting him........there are people in gov't who have had enough of him.

Meanwhile, there are police defecting and the crowds are growing each day.....and not just Tehran. There are demonstrations in every city of Iran.

It is like when our own wingnuts invoke terrorists, it is a guaranteed hot button to elicit a non-thinking response. It will be interesting to see if that button has lost its power like the terrorism one has here.

Although, if they start mashing it and it has no effect, then the mullahs get unpredictable.

Is Iran collapsing? That's the question of the hour. I don't think Iran will collapse but I think its about to go through some major changes.
