I'd say it's made true by voting themselves tax cuts and then not paying for them, as with W. Just borrowing money from China instead.

But your position presumes that the money people earn should be confiscated by government; in effect a socialist point of view.

Of course, most Americans do not WANT socialism, they didn't vote for it, and had no idea that's what they were getting with Obama.
