Obama can take all the credit or blame for everything he has done since his takeover of the Presidency. Bush was responsible for everything before then.

The thing that most people aren't paying attention to is: The President can only recommend, but not make, the actual spending requirements and act on them.

What I want to know is: who were the Congress people who were to be overseeing all the various institutions and what and how did they miss the mortgage so badly? Why did GWB every year go to Congress and ask/tell them there were massive problems with the Freddie and Fannie groups? Barney Frank and Chris Dodd stood by and did absolutely nothing....Check YouTube for each of the last several years....you will see.
