Why didn't Obama give me the $6,000 that I've been asking for since before the election?

I had big plans for that money ... booze, fast women, gambling ... would have been a heck of a stimulus for the economy.

People lose their homes. They are homeless.

While some who lose their homes become homeless, this is most certainly not the most prevalent outcome. The foreclosure rate is generally being driven by those who took variable rate loans or took loans larger than they could afford.

Most people who get foreclosed end up renting. Oh the horror!

Yes, the homeless rate has gone up but joblessness is the problem not foreclosures. Stopping the foreclosures would just extend the pain in the housing sector as we would leave a huge number of homes in the hands of people who cant afford them. This is not a good outcome over the long term.
