"...you are by no means an arbiter of such stuff." Of course I am. I revere the truth as a sacred and uncompromisable construct. Its what you see as the truth, not what the truth really is. Fundamental in language and in social function, essential to the trust held by one person to others. The extent to which you may rely on the integrity of other persons is the extent to which you are bound to them in membership, and this is specifically measured by trustworthiness. When you display a disregard for truth you also declare your self to be unworthy of such trust. I am quite capable of witnessing to such stuff and judging it for what it is. Wow. You do love to go on and on. You were born in the wrong time. The latter part of the 19th century I think would have suited you better.
