You're so right about the confidence factor. THis is showing up in the rising consumer confidence stats. And confidence is critical to keep the engines of the economy greased. We certainly don't need the 'hiding the money in the mattress' scenario of the Depression days. Obama is indeed probably the most popular politician on the world stage, and deservedly so, IMO. His plate is incredibly full but I'm still comfortable it's in his hands. Congress is such another story, though. How in the world did we get some of these people.
