Sorry to hear this about you and your wife. My wife actually started trading in the late 90's as a day trader, and was quite successful, both in up and down markets. However, she ignored some signs of stress over the years, and sort of burned out - and decided to give it up. She still has a good eye for the markets, and she'll talk with me about it - but no active trading.

It's a hard game.
