quehubo;

I appreciate your comments.

This takes money away from the public where it could be used more efficiently.

Ya, except the economy is doing such a correction that there is no demand for money. Check out what you get on a CD today. This is all a result in Greenspan keeping the faucet wide open for too long.

The only way out of this is by increasing employment and this administration is as clueless as the last one.

Here I disagree and give Obama credit. So should conservatives. Obama by encouraging the things he is, is indeed incentivising small business. He is encouraging alternate energy, he is encouraging infrastructure, he is encouraging broadband, he is encouraging rapid transit (Amtrack for instance), he is encouraging medical advances by switching to electronic record keeping, he is encouraging more efficient transmission of energy.

Republicans ala Bush ran this economy over the cliff - they would be wise not to double down by pretending the problem is spending too much when Bush was King of spending. The difference is Obama is trying to climb back up that cliff Bush went over and he is doing it in a way that has hope to accomplish exactly what you propose - an increase in jobs. You can't create any of those things above that Obama wants without creating jobs.
