History and evidence proves that the (R)'s were most at fault. So it WAS, so America BELIEVES, and so the history will be WRITTEN.

You lose. The only dissent is your wingnut apologetics media attempting to blame shift. When will you guys accept that your team CAUSED the biggest economic clusterfuck since the Great Depression, which your team also caused? It's beginning to look like your team just can't be trusted with the American economy, EVER.

"You are using another instance to justify the fact that the Congress law allowed these loans."

Now who is making stuff up?

If the existing regulations had been enforced, a lot of the wheeling and dealing which led to the meltdown would not have occurred. But they weren't and it did. However, this was only the fuse. The problem is that the whole system had become unstable and was looking for a crisis to perform a belly flop. Asset based securities and credit default swaps were largely unregulated and had grown to the point where they dominated the market. Anything that perturbed them and a cascade of dominoes were poised to take down the world economy.

Which is what happened.
