It is getting to be too much trouble for me to maintain two different personalities on a single thread. Perhaps you could address further correspondence to the other half of my split personality, who is posting as "RLM." I think that you have a lot in common.

Nobody is saying much today on this thread about the price of gold or oil. Does anyone have any opinions as to whether the fed's efforts to cushion a collapse of the stock market will be inflationary enough to make a switch from treasuries to gold advisable. Or whether we might have another oil shock, such as for some reason seem to come along at times of market volatility.As Bonnie anticipated, the dollar seems already to be sinking.
