I wasn't comparing the %'s, and I happen to agree with you...I was thinking more along the lines of panic selling (index and price drops) vs the timing of the rebound... and comparing it to the trading pattern of Oct 19/97...Looks like I may have been pretty close (He says, as he gloats and pats himself on his back)... ed :-) ps: Look for a further push, before the close...There's a lot of ground to recover on both sides of the border...DJ presently up 153..
