William,

I noticed that MSFT is one of the few blue chips in the tech-sector
that hardly rebounced. It is also one of the stocks with a small
short-interest. So that could make todays rally a short-covering one,
with more ugly things to come in the next few days.
What is your opinion on this.

Paul

William,

Hi!!!! Got a guy on the phone who has a mental road map of all roads, trails and favorite eating places in Lancaster County....MY DAD!!! Dear old dad kept some of his Dell today he'd purchased with cash....But, sold his margined Dell without a loss...I am trying to convince him to buy back his margined shares...he has some questions for you or this thread...please reply anyone...THANKS!!!

What is your estimate for the 3rd qt. for Dell?
Value Line has it at .59 cents...(life long subscriber)

What is your estimate for Jan. 1999 entire year?

He is a long term investor and has rarely used margin but was somewhat successful prior to these past three or four weeks...saw the profits but didn't like the situation world wide..so had a stop loss in place....@85 so he still made $$$...but, he hasn't had the brow beating from this thread that I have had the priviledged of being exposed to for 20 months....Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks again,
Best,Kemble
