Watcher, What I was actually trying to do was buy 5K of Micron (MU) for 25 3/4. It's a fast mover but at 26 and under it's a good buy. My big problem with e.Schwab (and from what I'm reading, everyone else), is that they over sell their services, then can't perform when it's critical. When you really need them, they're unavailable and the excuse is that it's too busy. Somebody got through to somebody today...NASDAQ over 1 billion. I just wanted it to be 1 billion and 2 (I would have sold MU @ +2 for a quick $400). Wishful thinking, huh? I'm no expert but I think I'll have another chance in the next couple of weeks. If so, I'll drive downtown and stand in my local office and see if they can get through <G>. JR
