This country unfortunately is doomed. Yeah we will still exist but not anything like it used to be.

When I was a kid during the 60's my family lived in a tenement in Newark, this was during the riots, my dad had an hour commute each way to his two jobs in Manhattan and had to worry about getting murdered just to get to and from work. I don't pine for the past much cause the past pretty much sucked ... I guess for some people it was Ozzie and Harriet and here come the Nelsons but overall I don't see how we're missing out on much of anything that was good. Now if you want you can live in a gated community, the thing about gated communities is the chance of people rioting and burning down your house and dragging your bludgeoned corpse through the streets is virtually nil ... what's not to like? Sure there are parts of the country that are totally savage but that's why God gave us fast automobiles and large caliber weapons. Just look at Katrina, did the people with large caliber weapons get bludgeoned and looted? Hell no, cause even savages have to respect a large caliber semi-automatic weapon.
