Asstalk. If Bush hadn't put Iran in the'"Axis of Evil" right in the middle of the election there eight years ago, we'd have proabaly had a moderate elected THEN, instead of the Cheney-like midget we have NOW.

They have a bunch of Cheneys in office. That's what they are trying to change.

Bush and Cheney had a large part in making this happen; the Domino Theory.

You're using a discredited theory in reverse. Interesting.

Now, it may yet end badly, as revolutions sometimes do. Moussavi has called for the ouster of the theocracy, and that is a very bold step and a very good sign.

He has? Where did you see that?

While it is a very long road, it is possible we're seeing the beginning of a true democracy in Iran. Right on schedule.

It isn't helping that Obama is MIA. Even if you believed it was appropriate for him to be on the sidelines a few days ago, at this point, he needs to be loudly proclaiming our support for what is happening in Iran and we need to be facilitating it to the extent possible.

Nope. Its all on the Iranian people. Its their manifest destiny; not yours, not Obama's, not America's. All we can do is watch and keep the lines open and hope that they can pull it off.
