So what you are stating here is that the extreme money creation taking place right now isn't a problem because consumption is down anyway, right? Thus the classic case of a demand explosion following the green back printers doesn't take place until consumption picks up again, correct? Now, let's assume your being right, when consumption takes off again, how is Obama going to retract all that money he created? The introduction of a 'temporary only' VAT of say 12% would do the trick, right?? A VAT, sure. Taro
