I think this is where we're headed. It is one thing he can do to raise massive amounts of money and still claim "I didn't raise taxes on those making under 250k".

I just don't think you can print this much money -- regardless of productivity, without it having a substantial effect on inflation.

I guess we don't know because it has never been done before, but it just stands to reason.

He doesn't have to, but he does have to reign in the deficit. By your logic, we should have gone into a hyperinflation scenario because of the printing that was done during the Depression and WWII. Ah, yes, the Great Inflation that dominated the 1950s...
