As I have ranted for years, China should have been Gung Ho on world-style CDMA in 450MHz, 800MHz, not in their so-called Made in China TD-SCDMA which will never do anything outside China and probably not even inside China the way they are going.

With their local market, they could already be HUGE in CDMA/W-CDMA and sending tsunamis of the stuff out around the world Made in China by Huawei [the company I have nominated for years as best placed].

Huawei has contributed to the new W-CDMA network for Telecom New Zealand.

You are in the right spot there ElM with Huawei. Try not to drown in all the money and booming business. Down with Nokia! Good riddance to L M Ericsson. I didn't know Alcatel is still going.

There are stupendously huge oceans of cash surging into mobile cyberspace, irrespective of recession, depression, inflation, deflation. Gold by comparison is cheap bauble material.
