Looks to me like $15 invested five years ago and a sale @ $45 would have been 25% compounded 5 year return with only on trade.

However if you sold this morning at under $20 you did not do so well.
For those folks with the anatomy to buy today at $20, a sale at $60 in March 98 will return hmmmmm ?

<<They had since Spring to capitalize on the K6, and in my view that window has closed, with AMD once again not executing.>>

One good thing that may come out of this is that Jerry Sanders and his crews are less likely to cash out their options in the mid 20s. Now they have to work hard to pump up the stock.

Ali , re. AMD again not executing...
but that's why the stock is AT $24 .
Where does it go from here ?
AMD's cost for the K6 and I venture to say K7 will be appreciably lower than Intel because of the smaller die size . So as has been pointed out by a number of analysts AMD will be the lower cost producer by a wide margin . Brian
