He has taken a reasoned approach...in public. Supported by many experts and many ex-pat Iranians. They get the danger of too much public talk. As for what is happening privately, we don't know but certainly it is more focused and more targeted. (as hinted by the Swiss on Saturday).

So, if he speaks out as you say, what would it accomplish in Iran other than give the regime talking points to use against the Greens? Do you think it would strengthen the resolve of the protesters more than their own experiences have?

Or would it just look good for domestic consumption?
