Tampa General amputated the wrong arm a few years ago. I guess that 'should have happened'.

Tampa General is a not-for-profit.

That said, wrong-side/wrong-site surgeries continue to happen on occasion and it is almost impossible to believe that procedures now in place haven't totally prevented it.
