Mr. Cole is one of the jerks who got our car companies in trouble and now he's the voice of authority???

Yeah. Far better to have the company run by someone who says, "Oh, cars? No, I don't know anything about cars...."

Interesting.....Mr. Cole is one of the jerks who got our car companies in trouble and now he's the voice of authority??? When will you all ever learn?

Mr. Cole is not one of those people who got the car industry in trouble. No, he is one of the engineers and scientists in the industry. It was the business and marketing side, and also the unions that got them into trouble.

Consider this, both GM and Chrysler had vehicles that were in the top ten sellers in 08. If they had quickly reduced their overhead when sells dropped last year they could have reduced their losses enough to avoid a bailout. But they could not make a profit on each unit because of the high overhead, mostly labor.
