Had it not been for lukewarm support from Democrats, we could have been even FURTHER along. Thank God for GWB, who invalided ABM in 2001. As to your other post in regard to NK, do you think Obama behaved rationally in cutting missile defense expenditures by 15%? I don't. The best thing we can do WRT NK, it seems to me, is to shoot down (preferably, in the boost phase) any missile NK fires. Regardless of where it is headed.
