He also ignores the efforts of many presidents of both parties, starting with Harry Truman - who threatened to NUKE Stalin if he moved on Iran after WWII, with a nuke he didn't even have! Every president since fought the Cold War. Eisnehower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford and Carter. Ronnie RayGun claimed credit because he was nodding off and drooling in the Oval office when the inevitable, predicted collapse happened. The Soviets had been devoting 70% of their GDP to the military through ALL those administrations. It was unsustainable for them to keep up with our economy.
