Sanford disappears to hike Appalachian Trail Strange dude. You think he would take his cell. Frankly, I think the pressure got to him and he needed to get away......completely away/no cell phones but it doesn't work that way when you're an elected official. Besides, the guy is having a bad year with some of the wrong moves he's made like rejecting the stimulus money. Safe to say he probably won't be running for president in 2012 like he had planned. BTW speaking of cell phones, do you realize we are the only country that calls cell phones cells? Most countries call them mobiles which actually makes more sense when you think about it.
