NT crashes on you? I'd like to hear about that (honestly) because I develop on it daily
and never crash. I'd be interested to know what conditions cause it to crash for you. I
certainly believe you though - I have seen some hardware devices bring it down.

And you probably only use Microcrap products. I have to reboot
every other day because is just starts getting slow. Low and behold,
I use Netscape, Oracle, Java, Javascript and some 3D visualization
software. I actually like Win95 over this.

No, not a UNIX person. I like to use DOS, though (not invented by MS - go figure).

As for hardware devices bringing down the OS, I've never seen it happen. I've seen NT crash because it couldn't handle the insertion or removal of a hardware device. The worst crash I have seen was not related to a hardware change, and was not recoverable. The more I tried to fix the problem, the worse it got (and I had a real NT guru try to help me). I had to reinstall NT.

I must say that NT is more stable (although ridiculously slow), but I had no idea what torture I would go through trying to get it to work with my EPROM programmer, Jaz drive, Zip drive, scanner, and and Wacom graphic tablet.
