You just hate that Charlie Wilson debunks some of the phony RayGun myth, don't you? He's really the only contemporary president you guys have had that wasn't some sort of a total failure. I guess he DOES stand tall amongst the timber of Nixon, Ford, one-termer Poppy and W.

Fine. That still explodes your contention that nothing happened until Reagan.

I don't know who Charlie Wilson is. So what is your point? The fact of the matter is that the Stinger, along with everything described as the first generation of "smart weapons" was fully funded under Carter. In fact, he was the first president who pushed the issue.
