Ignorance was bliss, the big news was about a presidential blowjob, stocks were climbing to P/E ratios of 50 based on inflated pro forma numbers, Enron and Worldcon were swindling us, yet we were all happy because we were all making money.

There's a strong possibility that Gore, continuing Clinton's forcing the CIA and FBI to cooperate and having a solid anti-terrorist team on the case under Richard Clarke "shaking the trees", with presidential access, would have detected and prevented the plot from happening at all.

But, we KNOW what happened with the clueless W, napping, chopping brush, reading stories to schoolkids..

We CERTAINLY know Gore would never have invaded Iraq!
