He's got a lover. Given that he's an (R), it could likely be a man, or a child. Least likely is a woman, but it's possible.

Hard to say. But something is going on. Apparently he was spotted on a plane in Atlanta. And he phone associated with a tower in Atlanta. And then there was the state vehicle which went missing and was tracked down to an Atlanta airport...

Actually, his car was found in the parking lot at the Columbia airport. Now why would you fly to Atlanta to go hiking on the Appalachian Trail?
