LJ, The "ideal world" is irrelevant. It only exists in the movies, in the imagination of some creative adults and in the wish-fulfillment fantasies of infants; oh yes, perhaps the extreme left and right wing of the political spectrum. One of the starting points for the healthcare issue is how much govt. intervention will be permitted. The presumption that government's role in healthcare cannot be changed must always be challenged. From my pov., all political issues begin with what is the role of govt. and why. Haps.
