More data.

Yesterdays 2 year auction: bid:cover a record 3.2:1. About 70% of buying from foreign central banks, also close to a record. We have a bull market in negative dollar sentiment, and also a bull market in actual demand.

In addition to your accurately put "you can't trust what you 'know' if what you know is what you 'fear'", I'd add this corrolary; "always be prepared to short those who know for certain".

Although we don't know the future, we do know the present, and atthe present the market is voting that inflation/dollar devaluation is not a legitimate concern.

But fortunes are made by proving the market wrong, and so perhaps all here predicting a dollar crisis are going to be printing a mint soon.
