Some on yahoo said this is a nonevent since it was pretty clear beforehand that MGM is not going belly up. But anyways the price alone is hot; MGM traded much higher recently and some bounce is in order.
(with the problems in Vegas, with Icahn demanding a BK filing I am not favoring gaming stocks in general).

The bid was for at least 700k shares, we will soon see what the 6.32 are worth.

i wouldn't.. They still have some cash flow issues with the massive debt service but more importantly when city center opens they will have a lot of new debt to service. it is also likely that cc will cannibalize other company owned properties for customers.
