Mark,

I got in at 82 1/4 for INTC. They just announced a major buyback for tomorrow.

Mark and others: How significant is the heavy volume for LSI today ?
If LSI hasn't purchased all the stock under the buyback program anounced in
(July ?) why wouldn't they announce that they are in buying the stock
currently given that they feel the stock is undervalued ? I have
asked the IR department at LSI the same question. However, they are
so busy doing whatever they do, they just never have time to get back to me. It sure is nice to see LSI up even if it is only due to the tech stocks (and the stock recommendation) being higher.

Just to clarify my position here, if your a trader type and purchased LSI in the 19 - 22 level and it gets a quick pop up to say 24 - 25 I would consider selling the position, and waiting for it to drop down again short term. I suspect that this market is going to remain volatile for a couple of weeks.
If your a long termer, and you bought some at low levels, consider write covered calls out a few months, I really doubt you will see
30 any time soon. And depending on your average cost, option writing
is a nice way to pick up some income as long as you have enough shares to make it worth while.
