LJ, research has created a diet where will power is not an issue... you just aren't up to speed on it.

manuel uribe cut his calorie intake over 90% and eliminated his ravenous hunger that propelled his weight to 1234 lbs.

he's no 700 lbs (500 lb weight loss in just over 3 years), he's not hungry and he's nno longer depressed. in fact, he's quite a happy guy now that he's been exposed to the leading edge dietary technology.

news.bbc.co.uk

if you are on a hormonally unbalanced diet that elevates insulin (drives down blood sugar, activates fat trap) or increases cortisol (cause the body to become insulin resistance and elevates insulin).

i lost over 25 lbs of fat in 6 months and never felt better! i also gained (still gaining) about 10 lbs of muscle a year at the same time i lost the excess fat.

pbs did a study on weight loss and robin lost 45 lbs in 6 months and never felt better!

pbs.org

the occupational nurse that referred this diet to me (for pain management purposes) had failed every diet out there and had sworn off all diet books (she had read them all, failed them all and was done!) picked up entering the zone due to its pain management claims. she easily lost weight for the first time in her life and eliminated a 15+ aspirin a day habit. her testimonial is in one of dr. sears' books.

if you were hungry on your diet, you were on a hormonally imbalanced diet. it was also pro inflammatory, but that usually takes time before that bomb blows up.

"wouldn't it make sense for the government to do so. "

LJ ... who has bought and paid for the food pyramid we see in school? The industry that profits when we don't diet/see the doctor/consume too much meat/sugar/fat/salt?

Lobbying lobbying lobbying.

How do you think a corporate-controlled gov't would behave? Our reps get reelected thanks to corporations, and so that is who they serve.

It's the poor dumb luck of the States that millions of new people are trying to get free "care" in ERs around the country because they have no health insurance. That ain't the Federal Gov't's problem is it?
