CJ, > The righties here don't care about policy, it is all about ideology. For them, policy is immaterial because government can't work. So why bother?

Policy is the practical implementation of ideology, is it not?

Liberals of course think that the ideologies of free market and minimalist government are impractical because the risks are unacceptable. Then they take that rejection and turn it into an arrogance that lets them avoid having to defend their own failed policies.
