Laugh, well, fortunately, I don't think NUKO is trying to promote an industry wide standard. They are just selling products and services in a good market that will increase very very radically upon the deploitment of HDTV TV's next year and going foward. This MPEG-2 stuff can't be done very well on any PC's it really does take dedicated hardware. The real reasons I just invested some money are:

#1 - Market cap is $15 million.
#2 - I like their products - nuko.com
#3 - Someone here said that Bob Kondamoori is an awesome
salesman. I think they meant it in a negative tone,
but I find that to be an endearing quality in a CEO :).
#4 - DVD and MPEG-2 will be taking off a lot once the DVD stuff
and televisions that demand MPEG-2 are in place. This
what we are waiting for with NUKO.
#5 - Why not, this stock is do for a bounce. I think the
mysterious figure of $.40 probably won't be reached because
that would put the market cap at $4 mill. I don't think
I've ever seen a stock, no matter how bad, get that low.
Earnings will probably suck Nov. 6th, but does anyone
know what happened to that revenue from awhile ago that
was supposed to be passed forward to Q3?

Cheers!

Kyle..
