FDR was radical, no doubt. But I'm not sure he was any worse than Obama. Maybe.

Considerably more than Obama has been so far. Of course FDR has a long time, while this is Obama's first year in the White House. But still I don't think its possible for Obama to increase the extent of government control over the economy as much as FDR did. I don't even think he really wants to (but I'm far less sure about that, it is possible that he wants that big of extension, but even if he does he won't get it.)
