TELECOMWORLDWIRE--(C) 1994-7 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

California Graphics has launched the Hawk 3D Pro TV 64-bit board, its new graphics card for the recently introduced AGP based on the S3 ViRGE/GX2. The Hawk 3D Pro TV 64-bit board has a high performance 3D engine that provides greater than 30Mtexel/s fill rates. It also features an integrated TV encoder that outputs NTSC/PAL composite or S-video signals so that TVs can be used for presentations, games or 30 frames per second DVD playback. The card's Streams Processor technology allows for the simultaneous display of graphics and video of different colour depths and resolutions. The card can facilitate horizontal and vertical interpolation and YUV colour space conversion features required for full screen video playback with both software CODECs and hardware MPEG sources for MPEG, Indeo and Cinepack movies. The Hawk 3D Pro offers 4Mb, a 30ns access time and SGRAM driven at 100 MHz, is supported by a 212 MHZ RAMDAC and includes a feature connector that enables industry standard MPEG decoders and video digitisers to be added as daughter boards. The graphics card is fully compatible with Microsoft's Direct 3D and uses Microsoft approved drivers. 3D features include flat and Gouraud shading, perspective correction, bi-linear and tri-linear texture filtering, MIP-Mapping, depth cueing, fogging, alpha blending, video texture mapping and z-buffering. The Hawk 3D DX board is fully Plug & Play and is supplied with a set of utilities called CGP Reality Pro that provide a means of controlling the display. In addition, the software features monitor adjustment tools to change the resolution and colour depth on the fly, link a particular application with a specific video mode and to zoom enlarge any portion of the display by up to ten times. The CD also includes a copy of Electronic Art's FireFight 3D game. The Hawk 3D Pro TV board cost GBP99 for either AGP or PCI versions.

Sid and all, if you had problems getting filled on trades when you knew you were do an execution call your brokerage firm and go over the time and sales report at the time you placed the order. Time and sales report tells all. Don't like your brokerage firm just say you were away from the market. I used Brown & Co. and did'nt have too many problems today, both on stock and option trades. Good luck.
