I can't believe you took the time either. Its a mistake to conclude SA or Abu Dhabi are installing solar to "get off oil".

BTW, SA fairly recently began production from a major new oil field. And Abu Dhabi has a big development going on to expand production from the offshore Upper Zakun field, the fourth largest oil field in the world. BTW I've worked with one of the fellows working over there on this project now.
