“We don’t want this regime to fall. We want our votes to be counted, because we want reforms, we want kindness, we want friendship with the world.” — Ali Reza, an Iranian actor, on the sidelines of protests in Tehran.

What an idiotic remark. Can't this fool see that the regime is is reason they can't have their votes counted, reforms, kindness or friendship with the world?

Iranian rulers hate obama just like our wingers here. The thing they are most afraid of is america showing its best face. Like the north koreans, they can deal with our guns, our threats etc. in fact that strengthens their hold on power. But obama scares the hell out of them and probably swung the vote to moussavi in their election. Most people want peace and dialogue, not war and confrontation.
