380 design is all Airbus and fly by wire. Yep as a pilot you make suggestions to the plane which then decides whether it wants to obey you or not. Now that I read that and remember Sully saying they hit birds and lost thrust in both engines I bet the damn computers did shut them down. Scary. I won't fly them if it's at all possible though I see my wife made an error on our return from Vegas in November and we are on an Airbus. I take the flight a half hour later that is a Boeing. I guess I'll just pray.
