These democrats really want to send us back to the dark ages.

How will they continue their own lavish lifestyles when the populace is forced to drive tin cans and live in white roofed block houses with windmills in the backyard and solar panels occupying the yard?

Let's throw out all the bastages and start over!

Republicans maintain that the bill will drive up gas and electricity prices and damage the nation's competitiveness globally.

All this is just a big across the board tax increase, applied during a serious economic recession. Just what we need to make matters worse.

Could it be that our dully elected representatives are such a bunch of ignorant power hungry greedy SOB's?
