SD, > Since he swore an oath to uphold the law, and then broke it by committing adultery, it seems to me he should be impeached by intellectually honest conservatives.

Lots of reasons why he should resign. No reason why he should stay. I think the choice is obvious.

Reconciliation really should be taking place outside of the public spotlight. If the wife is politically ambitious, perhaps she should have thought about that before kicking her husband out of the house. Now what, she wants to reconcile because being the governor's wife has its benefits? Too bad, she should have fought harder to keep her husband from a wandering gaze.

And yet, now that he's back, they claim he's with his family working on reconciliation. Hard to say what's going on. I've heard that she's as (or even more) politically ambitious (for him) than he is. So who knows what's really going on?

She's not a nice person.........that's apparent from her comments.......no class at all.

Sanford's dead politically. When his wife realizes it, she'll probably take the kids, all his money now and in the future, and bail too.
